Final Major Project - Observational Drawings

To gain the best final result possible, aside from the research pages and mood boards I know one thing that could help me would be observational drawings. I did this because it would better help me understand the structure of buildings and proportions of them too. I have done similar exercises to this in the form of my compositions but the observational drawings are far more helpful in this area.

Here I tried to keep the observational drawings in relation to the concept art and theme. So I drew a water/oil tank of which is from Borderlands and a make shift-shack from Fallout.

Here I wanted to experiment with 3D objects and proportions. As with the tank (cylinder) and the shack (rectangles) this again was a rectangle but from a different perspective. Learning and practising these formal elements of art are not only crucial to this project but to my skills as an artist.
